Facebook Profiles can no longer be connected to Crowdfire

Modified on Wed, 25 Jul, 2018 at 7:06 PM

Starting 31st of July, 2018 you can no longer use Crowdfire Publish to post to your Facebook Profile(s). Connecting, managing and publishing to Facebook Pages will work as per usual.

In order to improve the ecosystem and build a spam-free, personalized experience for its users, Facebook has continually been making changes to the way third-party apps can use the platform. While this might cause some inconvenience at the moment, we truly believe in the long run it will have a positive experience in the way organizations and businesses use Facebook.

To keep users’ information safe and secure, this change is being made for all third-party apps across the world and is not specific to Crowdfire.

As a strategic Facebook partner, Crowdfire will continue to work in compliance with Facebook’s policies to ensure a great, seamless outcome for our users. This change is specific to Facebook Profiles. Facebook Pages will work as per normal.

Currently, Facebook is moving in a direction where they’re building out comprehensive features around Facebook pages for Businesses. If you would like deeper insights into analytics, ads and scheduling, here’s why you should consider converting your Facebook Profile into a Page

If you’ve been using Crowdfire to publish to your Facebook profile, we can understand how disruptive this might be to your workflow. We thank you for understanding and continuing to support us through this journey which is crafted keeping your privacy and security at the forefront.

Note: If you have already scheduled content you can view all of it in the scheduled section. All posts scheduled up until 31st July, 2018 will go out as per scheduled time. Posts that have been scheduled for 1st August or beyond, will not go out. This is specific only to Facebook Profile. Other scheduled posts will not be affected by this change.
