How does Content Recommendation work?

Crowdfire has an extensive pool of content that you can share on your Social media to engage with your followers and to keep your timeline active.

The content recommendations come to you from 2 sources - a private list created by Crowdfire on your Twitter account and the topics of interest you've chosen in your Crowdfire account.

Recommendations from cr-content-suggest Twitter list 

Crowdfire creates a private list of all the users that you've retweeted previously. Whenever a user from this list posts an article, it is shown to you as a recommended post. This is to ensure that you get only those recommendations that are relevant to your account.The list of accounts that we show you content from is stored in twitter lists called cr-content-suggest.If you're looking for a way to make recommendations from this source more relevant, you can edit this list and add/remove accounts who you think tweet about the content your audience would like.

If you need to remove some accounts from the list -

1. On the twitter app, tap on the profile menu
2. Tap on Lists
3. Tap on the cr-content-suggest list
4. Tap on Members and delete any members that you'd not want on this list by tapping on the X

If you need to add someone to this list -

1. Go to that person's profile by searching for him/her on the twitter app
2. Tap on the 3 dots at the top right of your screen
3. Tap on Add to list
4. Select the cr-content-suggest list and that account will be added to the list

Recommendations from topics

The topics can be added/changed by going to your Settings and selecting the option My Topics. You will see a broad set of topics upfront that you can choose from and also search for topics beyond that.

When you are recommended posts to share that you find irrelevant, click on Block at the bottom right of the posts that are irrelevant. (Click on the drop-down beside the article and Block source on the Web app and Click on Block at the top of the posts on Mobile app) Crowdfire will not recommend you posts from that source or domain again. This will also help Crowdfire learn your preferences and its suggestions will keep getting better.
