Why do I get an error saying my log in is disabled?

Modified on Tue, 17 Apr, 2018 at 3:50 PM

This is happening because you chose to disable log in for Crowdfire via certain social accounts. For example, if I have my Twitter and Instagram account linked to Crowdfire, I can choose to disable log in via my Instagram account and only use my Twitter to log in.

This makes sure my Crowdfire account is secure and no one with the log in credentials for my Instagram can log in to my Crowdfire account. This is a preference setting in your Crowdfire account and you'll need to re-enable the log in with the social account before being able to log in with it.

Here's how you can do that on Desktop-

  1. Log into Crowdfire with a social account you've enabled log in for
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon) on the top right
  3. Select the social account that gives you this error under Channels
  4. Switch the button for Enable login to ON.

Done! You'll now be able to log in with that social account on Crowdfire.

Here's how you can do that on Desktop-

  1. Launch the app and log in with a social account you've enabled log in for
  2. Tap on Profile on the bottom bar
  3. Tap on Settings (gear icon) on the top left
  4. Under Channels, tap on the account that gives you this error
  5. Switch the button for Allow login using this account to ON

You'll now be able to log in with that social account on Crowdfire.
